This is Outside the Box, our free blog where we take a deep dive into the nuances of restrictive covenant law. Later this week, we will kick things off with a scorecard of all 50 states plus D.C., measuring how each jurisdiction stacks up in the various ways courts and legislatures regulate this area of law. We’ll keep the scorecard updated as the law develops so employers and attorneys have a handy way to compare whether one state is more enforcement-friendly than another. (Spoiler alert: California is not very non-compete friendly.)
